Our stall canopy the Green Day festival came in very useful as a sun shade, as the weather was very hot. Much adult interest was shown in our product life-cycle display "From Shop to Landfill" and the ways we suggest to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. We added more names to the Council list of households wanting composers.
But as usual the star of our display (for both children and adults) was the Wormery. Hands were wetted so that close-up comparisons could be made between garden 'lob' worms and composting 'tiger' worms.

Hounslow Green Drinks On the first Tuesday of every month green people meet up for a beer at The Magpie & Crown in Brentford from 8pm onwards. The social gathering – part of a global network – is known as Green Drinks.
